| Most 24" mountain bikes weigh more than 30 pounds. Most riders of 24" mountain bikes weigh 60 pounds. That is a 2 to 1 rider to bike weight ratio. Imagine a 160 pound rider on an 80 pound bike.... | |
The Carver Bikes "Mini" is designed with the smaller rider in mind. It features a 3 pound 2 ounce triple-butted aluminum frame that accepts either 24" or 26" wheels, as well as an Eccentric Bottom Bracket to allow the use of single-speed or internally geared hubs. Super low 24" standover height and a very short 20.6" top tube makes the "Mini" perfect for riders from 4'1" to 5'2". |

The eccentric bottom bracket can alter the crank position to accommodate different crank lengths, wheel diameters and fork travel. Want simplicity and durability? Combine that with front disc brakes and an integrated roller brake or V-brake on the rear wheel, and let your kids concentrate on riding instead of shifting! |
